Aligned with national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) criteria, the human resources MBA program at Baldwin Wallace University provides students with fundamental managerial and leadership skills that will enable them to understand strategic and operational issues in managing human capital in organizations.

Participants study and learn with other HR professionals and interact with managers from various business disciplines to expand their network of professional contacts.

Explore various compensation models. Examine and apply the theory and strategy behind compensation practices, from behavioral aspects and legal constraints to developing base pay systems, variable pay, executive compensation, and benefits.

Understand the laws of employment. Through cases and practical application, explore laws affecting the workplace and interpretations of them as reflected in agency and court rulings.

Lead staffing and development operations. Take a deep dive into what it takes to acquire and develop an organization's workforce. Apply topics such as job analysis, assessment, recruiting, selection, training, and development in real-world situations.

Flexible MBA

Our flexible MBA option allows students to choose a start term (fall, spring or summer), class times (weeknight evenings or weekdays), the pace of the program and three options for attending classes (in-person, in real-time online or by watching a recording). Students can utilize all three options throughout the program based upon the most convenient option for their schedule.
